class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Established in 2008, the Program in Japanese as a Foreign Language aims to provide a high quality of Japanese language courses, train specialist talent such as Japanese language editors and translators in Japanese language and culture. The program provides an opportunity for students to learn a different foreign language, with the skills learned enhancing students\u2019 competitiveness in the workplace, earning them job opportunities as editors, interpreters, and translators, or work in mass media, tourism, finance, or technology. In the future, students may also choose to advance their studies in a graduate institute of the Japanese language. The Japanese program has become one of the most popular programs at NTNU. The program provides courses to improve teachers\u2019 capacities in Indigenous education pedagogy, Indigenous languages, Indigenous societies, and related professional knowledge and training.
