Directions for the Program of Indigenous Education and Culture<\/strong><\/p>

the University of the 2020 academic year on November 04, 2020<\/p>

  1. The National Taiwan Normal University (hereinafter referred to as \u201cthe University\u201d), in order to train teachers of Indigenous education, has established the \u201cIndigenous Education and Culture Program\u201d (hereinafter referred to as \u201cthe Program\u201d) in accordance with the Key Points of the University\u2019s Credit Program. The Program is organized by the College of Liberal Arts (hereinafter referred to as \u201cthe College\u201d) and planned in cooperation with the College of Teacher Education. The Program will be offered by relevant departments of the University, the National Taiwan University System, and related external teachers.<\/li>
  2. The Program is based on the accreditation system. Students who have completed relevant courses after registration may apply for the issuance of a certificate for the Program. The registration process will take place in the second semester of each academic year and the registration schedule will be announced by the Office of Academic Affairs.<\/li>
  3. A minimum of 12 credits are required for the Program, including 4 credits of compulsory courses and 8 credits of electives. For course information, please refer to the Curriculum of the Indigenous Education and Culture Program.<\/li>
  4. Students who have passed the same or similar subjects as those in the Program may apply for recognition after the examination and approval of the Program; however, the recognition of prior courses is limited to 1\/3 of the credits.<\/li>
  5. Students who have completed the subjects and credits stipulated in the Program may submit their applications and transcripts from previous years to the Office of Academic Affairs for the issuance of a certificate for the Program after the organizer has examined them.<\/li>
  6. Students who are qualified to graduate from the department (institution) they are enrolled in but have not yet completed all the subjects and credits of the Program may apply for an extension of their studies in accordance with the regulations; otherwise, they are considered to have forfeited their qualifications for the Program; however, if they are admitted to a master\u2019s or doctoral program at a school in the Taiwan University System, they may apply to continue the Program after admission.<\/li>
  7. All matters not stipulated in the Directions shall be handled in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations of the University.<\/li>
