The Ministry of Education proposed “The Program on Bilingual Education for Students in College” in September 2021, which is geared to help higher education institutions to further strengthen their students’ English proficiency and promote EMI in the hope of internationalization.

EMI, English as a Medium of Instruction, focuses on competitiveness in a globalized world. This is done by enhancing the overall English proficiencies of not only our students but also those of our faculty and staff members.

Program

Japanese program aims to provide a high quality of Japanese language courses, train specialist talent such as Japanese language editors and translators in Japanese language and culture. In the future, students may also choose to advance their studies in a graduate institute of the Japanese language.

Established in 2008, the Japanese program aims to provide a high quality of Japanese language courses, train specialist talent such as Japanese language editors and translators in Japanese language and culture. The program provides an opportunity for students to learn a different foreign language, with the skills learned enhancing students’ competitiveness in the workplace, earning them job. In the future, students may also choose to advance their studies in a graduate institute of the Japanese language.

Korean

Program

In order to implement to the goal of internationalization, the Korean Program not only endeavor to provide a high quality of Korean language courses but also actively plans for diverse Korean history, contemporary society, or culture courses to provide an environment with various choices of Korean studies. CLA signed Visiting Faculty Agreements with 4 top universities in Korea. We invite visiting professors every year to enrich our curriculum, to assist students to improve their professional skills, and to enhance students’ expertise.
