In 2001, the Humanities Festival, organized by the College of Liberal Arts, initiated a “dialogue between individuals and the humanities” at NTNU. Since then, the Festival has become a major annual event, recognized, supported, participated in, and looked forward to by teachers and students alike. The Festival is a demonstration of the results of the collective efforts and achievements of our faculty and students. It also symbolizes the humanitarian spirit of NTNU. The Festival belongs to all members of the College and NTNU. It is hoped that the Humanities Festival will give a new interpretation of the humanities at NTNU.
