To enhance young students’ understanding of literary translation and to improve their reading comprehension, translation capabilities, and cross-cultural literacy, the Department of English at National Dong Hwa University is organizing this event. Students interested in English, literature, translation, and publishing are cordially invited to participate.
This event will be held online on Saturday, October 3, 2026. Professional translators, authors, and publishing industry experts have been invited to share insights on practical literary translation, professional techniques, reading and translation experiences, and translation publishing, guiding students to understand the literary translation profession and the development of the publishing industry.
The event features three specialized lectures at the following times:
- Morning: 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM
- Afternoon: 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM
- Afternoon: 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM
